The New York attorney general is examining the possibility of deceptive advertising through ticket resale sites for Bruce Springsteen's 2016 tour.

Tickets for the Boss's tour don't go on sale until Friday, however hundreds of tickets have been listed for up to $5000 or more on certain resale sites, as reported by CBS 6.

Letters have been sent to StubHub, TicketNetwork and Vivid Seats by the attorney general asking about the practice of offering seats through secondary markets, when the seller may not actually possess the tickets.

TicketNation has voluntarily taken down any ticket listings they have for the tour, until they officially go on sale on Friday. StubHub is investigating the issue, but does not believe that there are any speculative tickets on there site.
