If you're worried about the impact of a major snowstorm in our area this weekend, don't be. It's not happening.

Earlier this week meteorologists were predicting the possibility of a monster snowstorm hitting the Hudson Valley. At the time, models were showing a potential nor'easter heading up the coast towards our area. There was even talk of the storm tracking further north, dumping serious amounts of snow in our area.

Well, that's not going to happen.

Meteorologists now agree that it's much more likely that the storm everyone's been worrying about will continue to track well south of our area. Snow isn't expected to fall anywhere near us.

But that doesn't mean it won't feel like winter. Expect high temperatures in the upper 20s throughout the region with lows dipping into the teens overnight this weekend. The good news is that we're expecting sunshine all day on Sunday and, thankfully, no snow.
