This is not what they mean when they say 'Take a bite out of crime'.

The NY Daily News reports that 25 year-old Jennifer Loughlin was charged after police say she bit a police officer. Police responded Saturday night to reports of a brawl in Aberdeen, N.J, Cops say the fight involved about 10 to 15 people.

Loughlin, approached the cops, and was described as "heavily intoxicated, uncooperative and disorderly". Police say Loughlin resisted while being cuffed. After being arrested, she allegedly opened her jaw and bit down on officer Jessica McDougall's arm. Laughlin refused to let go as police attempted to pry the officer's arm away from the attacker.

She was brought to Aberdeen police headquarters, where she was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and aggravated assault on a police officer. The injured officer went to a nearby hospital where she was treated for her bite-sized wound on her arm, cops said.
