A New Jersey man returned to the scene of the crime.

In 1999, Chris Miller was sentenced to a 15-year prison sentence for robbing a number of stores, including a Stride Rite in Toms River, NJ. Miller served his prison time. So what does he do on March 22, 2014...the very first day he's a free man? Robs a store. The same Stride Rite store. Nj.com reports that the cashier working that day, was the same victim robbed by Miller 15 years before. The cashier at Stride Rite was notified by authorities that Miller was being released. Sure enough, it wasn't hard for the employee to identify the 41-year old man upon his return.

This could very well be another sad case of someone who was institutionalized so long that they can no longer function in the outside world. Miller is now facing 10 to 20 years when he is sentenced in May.
