New York’s #1 Employer Has Several Hudson Valley Locations
With just over 90,000 employees state-wide, New York's #1 employer has several locations in the Hudson Valley. According to DidYouKnowFacts.com, the State University of New York or (SUNY) puts more people to work than any other business.
According to their website, New York has the largest university system in the country. Spread across 64 campus', 600,000 students participate in classes for credit, while another 700,000 take part in continuing education and their community outreach programs.
93% of all New Yorkers live within 15 miles of a campus and all 100% live within 30. There are over three million living alumni of the New York college system, and 37% of all in state college students attend an affiliated school.
