A New York teacher has allegedly been attacked by a parent and knocked out cold. The New York Post reports the incident happened at a middle school on Long Island Wednesday.

The parent involved, Annika McKenzie managed to push her way past security to confront the teacher, Catherine Engelhardt. McKenzie was upset about a situation earlier in the day when the teacher in question apparently grabbed her daughter.

Perhaps the most concerning part of the situation, students jumped in and allegedly started kicking the teacher after she hit the ground. The additional assailants included McKenzie's 14 year old niece.
