The NYPD has named their suspect who allegedly stole a pot of gold worth $1.6 million back in September.

If you guessed that the suspect's name is Lucky, well, unfortunately you're wrong.

Actually, his name is 53 year-old Julio Nivelo, who the NYPD believes is in the Los Angeles area at this time.

If you remember the infamous video from a few months ago, you can spot the would be leprechaun taking the 86-pound bucket of gold from the back of an armored truck before scurrying off.

An NYPD spokesperson said that they relied on multiple tips from around Tri-State area in identifying their man.

CNN says that Nivelo is described as a Hispanic man with dark hair. While the suspect does not wear green from head to tow, he is described as about 5 foot 5, so makes him just slightly taller than a leprechaun.
