The major airports in the New York City area were ranked based on customer satisfaction.

J.D. Power published their 2018 North America Airport Satisfaction Study on Wednesday, September 19. They ranked mega, large, and medium airports across the United States based on customer satisfaction. The study was based on five factors: check-in; food, beverage and retail; accessibility; terminal facilities; and baggage claim. Overall, passenger satisfaction rose from 749 in 2017 to 761 in 2018, based on a 1,000 point scale.
