A New Paltz man was arrested after police say he sold drugs to an undercover officer during an investigation.

Since the start of 2016 URGENT officials have been investigating drug sales in the New Paltz area. On Saturday afternoon, Aaron A. Kravig, 32, of New Paltz allegedly sold concentrated cannabis oil to undercover officers.

Kravig was last arrested at his home. A search of the residence yielded 4.7 ounces of marijuana and nearly $1,400 in cash, authorities say.

Kravig was charged with 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 4th-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, felonies, and criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.

Kravig was arraigned in the Town of New Paltz Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond. He’s due back in New Paltz Court at a later time.
