The New Montreign Casino in Sullivan County is beginning to ramp up development and are looking to hire local contractors and other businesses.

According to the Hudson Valley News Network, Charles Degliomini, who represents Empire Resorts, Inc. had this to say at a recent Dutchess County Chamber of Commerce breakfast:

"...as a project of regional significance, we want to work with local regional contractors and suppliers. We don't want our business going to out of state companies in New Jersey or Minnesota or elsewhere.  Our project is beginning, we're already bidding out contracts and we want regional construction suppliers and contractors to contact us so we can learn more about their businesses."

The new casino will feature much more than just gambling. Also included will be a 200,000 square foot entertainment village, spa convention center and more.
