New Comedy Club Coming to Poughkeepsie

Laugh it Up! Comedy Club is coming to Poughkeepsie and it debuts this Saturday night Aug. 29. The new comedy club is located inside Mahoney's Irish Pub and Steakouse at 35 Main St. The new club run by local funny man Daniel McRitchie will be featuring great comedy on a weekly basis featuring quality entertainment by talent from NYC to Albany.

Laugh it Up! hopes to fill a void that was left behind in the Hudson Valley by places like Banana's Comedy Club and other's that have struggled to keep an audience in recent years.

The grand opening weekend will feature a show Saturday at 9pm hosted by area comedian Shannon Cooke with Greg Stone (AXS TV, Vh1, Tru Tv) and Dan Perlman from Montreal's Just For Laughs. Advance tickets are just $18. For tickets and show info check out the club's official website here.
