NBC’s Brian Williams Interviews Edward Snowden

Last week NBC Nightly New’s Brian Williams sat down with former NSA contractor, turned whistle blower, Edward Snowden. The meeting was said to have lasted about five hours at a hotel in Moscow, where the 30 year old Snowden has been living in exile. He faces a number of felony charges after leaving the NSA with thousands of documents which he has since handed out to journalists, detailing the US government’s surveillance of telephone and email records, tapping of internet traffic, and continued spying.

When asked if he saw himself as a patriot, Snowden replied “I do”. Watch some of the highlights from the hour long special, which aired last night on NBC
