NBC is tackling a 'Coach' revival.

NBC has ordered a 13-episode sequel to the 90's sitcom, with Craig T. Nelson back in his title role, as reported by Hollywood Reporter.

The sequel picks up 18 years later where Nelson's character Hayden Fox comes out of retirement to become assistant coach to his own son, who is now head coach at an Ivy League school that is starting up a new team.

A premiere date for Coach 2.0 has not yet been determined and no additional casting information has been revealed. It would be great to Jerry Van Dyke return, though he is 83 now.

The creator of the first series, Barry Kemp will return to write and executive produce the series. Nelson will also be an executive producer.
