Naked Saugerties Man Wipes Butt With American Flag

A naked man running down the streets, wiping his butt with an American flag, is just a normal day in this Ulster County town. 

I seriously can't make this crap up. Well, maybe crap isn't the right word since we're talking about a guy wiping his butt.

Nevertheless, Saugerties, NY has provided us with another gem of a story. Earlier this month, Saugerties Police received several calls reporting that a naked man was running down the street in the Village.

Upon arrival, officers located the man. The man was in fact naked and had removed an American flag off a flagpole from a residence.

The man was observed spitting on the flag, and wiping his buttocks with the flag. The man was identified as Daniel P. Stolzfus, 30, of Saugerties.

Stolzfus was taken into custody by police and transported to Kingston Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation under the Mental Hygiene Law.

Criminal charges against Stolzfus for Petit Larceny, Criminal Mischief, and Disorderly Conduct are pending.
