My Lost Treasure: ZZ Top

The theme is food and drink, and once again I have to thank my facebook friend Matt Price for reminding me about today's lost treasure.  The drink for today is beer, and the band is ZZ Top.

For the longest time, I did not even realize that I actually like this song.  I heard a local band do it several times before I heard the real version from ZZ Top.  And even though the guy who sang this song for that band was the nicest guy in the world, he really was not a great singer.  So, I just assumed that I did not like the song because it was horrible.  Then I heard it done by ZZ Top.  I did not even recognize it at first.  And then I was like, hey... this song is pretty damn good.  And that's my Beer Drinkers And Hell Raisers story.

I think we can keep the food and drink theme going right through the holidays.  There are a lot more songs to get to, but if you think I've missed a good one, by all means let me know.
