My Lost Treasure: Van Morrison

The theme is color, and we have lots of songs to choose from.  The song I picked for today is one of my favorites, and it is a treasure, but not necessarily a lost one.  At least that is what I thought.  Then I noticed that every time a cover band plays this song, everybody gets up to dance.  They just love it.  That is good enough for me to make it a lost treasure.

I am a big fan of Van Morrison.  Tupelo Honey is one of my favorite albums.  I had a cat that would calm down every time he heard Van Morrison.  This is probably the first Van Morrison song I remember loving.  Plus, I have brown eyes, so I felt a connection to it.
