My Lost Treasure: Tom Waits

It's an alphabet theme on My Lost Treasure. We started with a week of songs that begin with the letter A, then a week of Bs, and so on and so on. Kind of like the Letter Game that we play every day on The Boris and Robyn Show. This weekend we wrap up the O songs. Today's O song was a request from Jenn in Poughkeepsie.

I feel like all the famous covers of Tom Waits are really good.  Jersey Girl by Bruce Springsteen, Downtown Train by Rod Stewart, and The Eagles do a great version of tonight's lost treasure. And all the versions by Tom himself are also amazing. But I have this loyalty to my late friend, coworker, and morning show partner Mark Cooper. He was such a Tom Waits fan. So, once again, I am going with the original.
