My Lost Treasure: Tom Waits

The theme for My Lost Treasure is building a city with songs. It is a really broad theme because we can make so many songs fit. We have added man made things for our city, and also natural things like rivers, and soon we'll add mountains. But today, we are going to support shopping and night life by adding a downtown. And another train.

I feel like all the famous covers of Tom Waits are really good ones. Jersey Girl by Bruce Springsteen, Ol' 55 by The Eagles, and Rod Stewart does a great version of tonight's lost treasure. And all the versions by Tom himself are also amazing. But I have this loyalty to my late friend, coworker, and morning show partner Mark Cooper. He was such a Tom Waits fan.  So, I am going with the original.
