My Lost Treasure: Tom Petty

The sky and beyond is out theme on My Lost Treasure.  Today we are featuring a full album which fits the theme.  At least the title fits the theme.  And it's by one of my favorite artists.

I have probably seen Tom Petty in concert more than I have seen any other band.  Most of those shows were at Saratoga Performing Arts Center.  The amazing thing about Tom Petty is his great command over his audience.  He can mesmerize them into silence, or get them singing full songs.  And the audience ranges in age from teenagers to people my age.  Which is kind of old.  But everyone is happy at a Tom Petty show, no matter how old or young they are.  I have never been at a Tom Petty show that was disappointing.  At least not until I tried to get out of the parking lot after the show.
