My Lost Treasure: The Yardbirds

It's an alphabet theme on My Lost treasure. We started with a week of songs that begin with the letter A, then a week of Bs, and so on and so on. Kind of like the Letter Game that we play every day on The Boris and Robyn Show. Today we have an F song from The Yardbirds.

Today's lost treasure is another one of those songs that used to get lots of airplay, but now you don't get to hear it much. Maybe if you're listening to an oldies station they will throw it on, but that's rare. It's a great song featuring Eric Clapton on at least some of the guitar. I read that this was the song that made Eric decide to leave the band because it wasn't "bluesy" enough. Even though he's on it, he had left the band by the time it became a hit. His career survived that move.
