My Lost Treasure: The Ramones

The theme right now on My Lost Treasure is building a city through songs. And what a city it is turning out to be. We have streets, houses, schools, parks, even jails. And now that we have added a couple of rivers, we can have beaches.

Today's lost treasure is such a cool song from an equally as cool band. The Ramones are well loved throughout the country and beyond, but I feel like those of us who grew up near New York City appreciate The Ramones even more. They are such a New York City band. I'm so glad they have a beach song that we can use to build our city. And it's a fun song for a Saturday morning.

I realize that we have been on this building a city theme for quite awhile, but it's a really fun theme, we're getting lots of requests, and we can add a wide variety of different songs.
