My Lost Treasure: The Kinks

The theme is food and drink.  With all the holiday parties and celebrations now and ahead of us, I thought it was a fitting theme.  Yesterday it was whiskey, today it is more general than that.  Just plain alcohol.

This is another one of those songs that reminds me of my friend Dan the Man.  We used to hang out at my very first apartment on Lattintown Road in Marlboro and listen to The Kinks Muswell Hillbillies album.  Over and over.  Those were the days.  I also want to send this out to my friend Steve Lindenauer.  Not because he drinks a lot of alcohol, but because he is a huge Kinks fan.
