My Lost Treasure: The Honeydrippers

The theme on My Lost Treasure is still songs with rock or rock and roll in the title.  I was somewhere the other day when I heard today's song.  I knew it was Robert Plant, but I wasn't sure which band he was playing with.  I knew it wasn't Led Zeppelin.

I came home and decided to do some research.  It is Robert Plant with The Honeydrippers.  This particular song features Jeff Beck on guitar.  What?  Jeff Beck was in The Honeydrippers?  I swear I had no idea.  You know who else played guitar on some of the songs?  Jimmy Page.  I didn't know about that either.  And Nile Rogers and Paul Shaffer.  I might have known about them.  Wow, what a band.  And what a great song this is.
