My Lost Treasure: The Grateful Dead

Our professions theme is officially over.  On to the next theme.  Back in the fall I did a girl's names theme, and I recently got an email from someone reminding me that I had not yet done a guy's names theme.  So that is our new theme on My Lost Treasure.

We are starting with the name John.  I am pretty sure this is the song that made me fall in love with The Grateful Dead.  Jimmy Corbett had the Workingman's Dead 8 track.  He would park his white VW bus on the side street next to Newburgh Free Academy, and we would all hang out listening to The Dead.  And doing other things we should not have been doing.  Actually, we should have been in class.  Anyway, today's song was so awesome to me.  And it still is.  I borrowed Corbett's 8 track and kept it for months.  And that's how I fell in love with The Dead.
