My Lost Treasure: The Grateful Dead

The theme is still places on My Lost Treasure.  Cities, towns, countries, states, continents, etc.  This theme has taken us pretty far, and there are still so many great songs to go.  I usually get tired of a theme by now, but that has not happened with this one.  Not yet, anyway.

With today's pick, I could have gone with the Marty Robbins or The Grateful Dead version.  I decided to go with The Grateful Dead.  Go figure.  I am very much a Jerry Garcia fan, and most of my favorite Dead songs are sung by Jerry.  But I just love the way Bob Weir sings today's lost treasure.  And it fits our places theme.

On a side note, today happens to be my birthday.  I have received so many nice happy birthday messages on facebook and through email.  Thank you so much, I am feeling the love.  And sending right back to you.
