My Lost Treasure: The Fifth Dimension

The theme right now on My Lost Treasure is the sky and beyond.  Including the planets, sun, moon, stars, etc.  I thought of today's song because this is the first day of 2016, the dawning of a new year.  It seemed to fit.

I remember hearing this song when my older brother would listen to the soundtrack from the Broadway musical Hair.  It wasn't performed by The Fifth Dimension.  Then they recorded a cover of it, and it became huge.  They did a great job of it, and it deserved the success.  It is not typical of songs I usually feature on My Lost Treasure, but it is a part of my childhood, and it's a damn  good song.  Plus, it is perfect for the theme.
