My Lost Treasure: The Doors

The theme is color, the subtheme is "blues".  Even though today's pick is not really lost, it definitely is a treasure.  And I could not do a theme about songs with blues in the title without including this one by The Doors.

I'm actually too young to have seen The Doors in concert, and I do not get to say that often.  But I do remember listening to The Doors a lot because my brother is ten years older than I am, and he was a fan.  For years when I listened to Roadhouse Blues, I thought Jim Morrison was singing the words Passionate Lady.  Just a couple of years ago I found out that he's actually saying Ashen Lady.  I could not believe it.  But its true.  Either way it's an awesome song and it fits the theme.
