My Lost Treasure: The Doors

No surprises today as we continue our theme of road songs.  I've been playing this one on the air for what seems like forever, and hearing it for even longer.  Familiar?  Yes!  Great song?  Absolutely!

But here is a surprise...for so many years I thought Jim was singing the lyric passionate lady, give up your vows.  Wrong!  He's saying ashen lady.  And I'm embarrassed to say I only found that out in the last five years.  Oops.
