My Lost Treasure: The Doors

The theme is songs with a holiday reference in the title that were never meant to be holiday songs. Songs about red, green, blue, white (for Chanukah), candles, trees, bells, balls, etc. I love today's unintended Christmas reference. It's Ho!

The idea for this one was completely accidental. My boyfriend Bobby and I were watching that Rob Howard documentary about The Beatles the other night, and John Lennon said the words land ho. That got us talking about the song Land Ho! by The Doors, and how much we like it. All of a sudden I realized I could use this song for our theme. What does Santa Claus always say? Ho! Alright, he says ho ho ho, but one ho will work. Maybe I'll just listen to the song three times.
