My Lost Treasure: The Band

We are working on the theme of family relations on My Lost Treasure, and I'm trying to get to all of your suggestions.  The Band is one of my favorite bands, so I am surprised that I did not think of this one on my own.  But I didn't.  Thank you to Frank Pesce who sent me this idea on my facebook page.

I've been a fan of The Band for years.  Sure, I like the idea that they lived and recorded in Ulster County.  But it does not matter where I live or grew up.  I could have grown up in Chicago, and I think I would still love The Band.  At least, I would like to think so.  And through the years in radio, I met Levon Helm, Rick Danko, Garth Hudson, Jim Weider, and maybe even Richard Manuel.  Not Robbie Robertson though.  They were all talented, gracious, and humble.  I am very lucky to have met so many cool people in my career.
