My Lost Treasure: The Allman Brothers

Places is the theme on My Lost Treasure.  Specific places.  Towns, cities, countries, continents.  You get the picture.  Today we are heading south with The Allman Brothers.

There was a time when I would not have called this treasure lost, but I do not hear it all that much anymore.  And it is such a great song.  I always forget how much I love The Allman Brothers until I am listening to them.  And my boyfriend Bobby is actually in a band that plays a lot of Allman Brothers.  So much that the name of the band is Painted Blue Sky.  So I am reminded more often these days of my love of The Allmans.  The band is playing this Friday night, April 8 at Keegan Ales in Kingston, by the way.  So if you love The Allman Brothers, come on out.  Back to My Lost Treasure now that I have shamelessly plugged my boyfriend's band.
