We are still working on the theme of color on My Lost Treasure.  The subtheme is "blues".  It's hard to think of songs with blues in the title without thinking about today's song by The Allman Brothers.  It's a good one, and it goes out to Jeff in Kingston.

Earlier during this theme, before we were playing songs that concentrated on the blues, we played Blue Sky by The Allmans.  Today it is Statesboro Blues.  A true blues song written by Blind Willie McTell, and performed with perfection by The Allman Brothers.  It's funny, but as much as I love The Allmans, I have never seen them in concert.  I got to see Gregg Allman and Friends at The Bardavon, and I have seen Dickey Betts a few times, but never The Allmans.  And now they've disbanded.  My loss, for sure.

I am not sure how long our color theme will go on, but I have already planned the next theme.  It will be things we see (or don't see) when we look up.  The sun, the moon, planets, clouds.  You get the idea.  Got a suggestion?  Let me know.
