My Lost Treasure: Stevie Ray Vaughan

The sky and beyond.  That is the new theme on My Lost Treasure.  The sky, clouds stars, sun, planets, and the like.  Today's song is a sky song with some awesome guitar.

It was either 1983 or 1984.  Stevie Ray Vaughan was just becoming known around here.  We were playing a few songs on WPDH.  Stevie Ray was playing at The Chance on a rainy and icy night.  We weren't even sure if the show would be canceled.  Stevie came in to the station and played right in the studio.  There is still a recording of that somewhere.  He was so nice and so talented.

Fortunately the temperatures rose that night, and everything turned to rain.  The sky really was crying.  And the show went on.  What a show it was.  If you have a song that fits our theme and brings back a memory, tell me about it.  We'll feature the song and your story on My Lost Treasure.
