My Lost Treasure: Steely Dan

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving with family, friends, and plenty of good food.  In honor of the holidays, we are working on a food and drink theme on My Lost Treasure.  I am pretty sure this suggestion came from my facebook friend Matt Price.  I think he comes up with about half, or at least a third of the songs on this feature.

I love playing Steely Dan.  It is almost like playing a local band.  At least there is a local history.  The band was actually formed right here in the Hudson Valley at Bard College in Annandale-On-Hudson.  The Steely Dan song My Old School is about their days at Bard. One of the lines even mentions Annandale.  That is pretty darn local.  We are not using that song today, but it is a Steely Dan song that's fits the food and drink theme, and the food is pretzel.
