What a coincidence.  We're doing a color theme on My Lost Treasure, and it's Black Friday.  No brainer, right?  Except when I went to find the video for this song, all that is available is this rehearsal/out take version.  Good enough, I guess.  It still sounds good to me.

I have never actually shopped on Black Friday.  The only time I went to a mall or a store was when I had to be there for a radio station appearance.  I can't even imagine waiting in line for hours or fighting over an item just to get a good deal.  I know people that make Black Friday a yearly thing.  Get up super early.  No thanks.  I do that every day.  But if that's what you love to do, then I say go for it and have a great time.

I am not really sure how long Black Friday will be a thing for.  I saw so many stores open on my way home from dinner last night.  Why get up at 3am when you can just go on your way home from your celebration the night before?

Are you like me, and have no desire to take part in Black Friday?  Here's an idea.  The Saturday after Thanksgiving is now Small Business Saturday.  You can do your shopping and keep it local.  That's definitely more my style.  Whatever you choose, happy shopping.  Enjoy this lost treasure from Steely Dan.
