My Lost Treasure: Spooky Tooth

The theme is road songs...and today's pick is one we don't hear very often.  I remember working overnights on PDH way back in the 80s, and getting a lot of requests for this song.  And it was old even then.

Spooky Tooth wasn't the only band to record this song.  They weren't even the first.  The Nashville Teens did it in 1964.  But I just love the Spooky Tooth version, and I think you will too.
