My Lost Treasure: Simon and Garfunkel

The theme right now on My Lost Treasure is professions.  Today's treasure was one I was already planning on playing at some point during this theme, but in light of the passing of Muhammad Ali, I decided to move it up to today.

Both Muhammad Ali and today's song were a part of my childhood.  I don't remember anyone in my family being big fans of boxing, but we all seemed to be big fans of Muhammad Ali.  When he boxed, we watched.  On the other hand, we were all fans of Simon and Garfunkel, so I have been listening to this song forever.  And both Muhammad Ali and today's lost reassure are great.  The greatest, as a matter of fact.

Just listening to this song as I type, and thinking of Muhammad Ali brings back a lot of good childhood memories.  I hope it does the same for you.  Rest in Peace, Muhammad Ali.  You were brave, strong, funny, and an inspiration to so many.
