My Lost Treasure: Pure Prairie League

The theme right now on My Lost Treasure is in and out.  Today's pick is more well known for the Amie part of the song, but those who listened to the radio in the 70s and 80s are probably also familiar with the Falling In and Out of Love part.  Which is the part that fits out theme.  Both the in and the out.

Today’s song was a staple for acoustic duos when I was growing up in the Newburgh area.  In fact, most of the bands and solo musicians I would go to see played this song, too.  One of the bands that my boyfriend Bobby plays with still occasionally pulls it out..  It’s always a nice surprise.  I’m listening to it right now as I write this.  And I still like it.
