My Lost Treasure: Peter Gabriel

The theme we are working on right now for My Lost treasure is color.  Even though I was not planning to do any particular order, the reds have been working out well this week, so we will do another red song.

I love playing Peter Gabriel songs.  Not only is he a great musician, but there is also a local angle.  Peter's bass player is Tony Levin.  Tony lives right here in the Hudson Valley, in Kingston.  And his wife used to be a radio personality in Albany.  And the one time that I saw Peter Gabriel in concert is was in Poughkeepsie at the Mid Hudson Civic Center.  What could be more local than that?

I am still taking requests and suggestions for songs with color or colors in the title.  Got any ideas?  Let me know, and I will get them on for My Lost Treasure.  This is a great red song, enjoy it.
