My Lost Treasure: Patti Smith

We're transitioning from our transportation theme to our animals theme.  How do you do that you may ask.  With horse songs, of course.  And today's certainly fits the theme.  It's a long one, but worth the time.

I must admit I wasn't all that familiar with Patti Smith until I started working at WPDH.  I also found out that people who love Patti Smith really really love her.  My friend Victor has seen her several times.  My friend Greg never misses her when she's playing in the area.   And my boyfriend Bobby also loves her, even more since he read her book.  Her second book is coming out next month.

Today's song and the album it's from is 40 years old this year.  Yikes, that makes me feel old.  It's a great song and a great album from a woman with a great big talent.  Enjoy.
