We are almost at the end of the current theme here on My Lost Treasure. The theme is songs with a holiday reference in the title that were never meant to be holiday songs. Songs about red, green, blue, white (for Chanukah), candles, trees, lights, etc. This is the next to last song of the theme, and it's a star song.

Today's pick was a big hit and is an oldie. I actually knew about it before it became a hit. We had the soundtrack to Hair at my house when I was just a young kid, and I own the cd as an adult. It had a few hits that were rerecorded by artists not on the soundtrack.  Today's song was recorded by Oliver, and it became a big hit. I loved it, then I didn't love it so much, and now I love it again. And it is a good Sunday morning song.

Only one more day for this theme, and then we'll do a week of "end" songs as we close out the year. If you have any "end" songs ideas, let me know at robyn@wpdh.com.  Happy Christmas Eve, and thanks!
