My Lost Treasure: Mott The Hoople

We are still working on the theme of songs with rock or rock and roll in the title.  God knows there are a ton of them to choose from.  The idea for today's song comes from Joe in Millbrook.  And it is a really good one, so thanks Joe.

It's a Mott The Hoople Monday today.  At least that's what I am calling it.  We featured Ian Hunter solo earlier during this theme, and today it is Ian with the whole group.  I'm a big fan of Mott The Hoople.  So was David Bowie.  When he found out that they were thinking about breaking up, he offered to write them a song if they would stay together.  They agreed, Bowie wrote All The Young Dudes, and the rest is history.
