My Lost Treasure: Marvin Gaye

It's an alphabet theme on My Lost treasure. We started with a week of songs that begin with the letter A, then a week of Bs, and so on and so on. Kind of like the Letter Game that we play every day on The Boris and Robyn Show. Today we wrap up the M songs.

Back in 1971 when this song was big, there was the Vietnam War, and a lot of people protesting it. And there were a lot of musicians writing songs. The whole What's Going On album from Marvin Gaye was an album of awareness. Awareness of the war, awareness of the turmoil in our country, and awareness of the environment. Today's lost treasure is a timeless song from that album.
