My Lost Treasure: Joni Mitchell

We are in the middle of a very broad theme on My Lost Treasure.  I'm calling the theme the sky and beyond.  It encompasses the sky, clouds, the sun and moon, planets, space, stars, etc.  Today's pick doesn't mention any of those things in the title, but it sure mentions clouds in the lyrics.

Judy Collins had the hit with the song, but Joni Mitchell wrote it, and I am partial to her version.  Don't ask me why, but when I chose this song for today and started listening to it, my eyes filled up with tears.  It is weird how music can bring out such emotions.  They are not tears of sadness, nor are they tears of joy.  Maybe they are tears of memories gone by, or maybe it's just an appreciation of the music.  Either way, I am not sorry that I am affected by music, even if it means shedding a few tears.
