My Lost Treasure: Jimi Hendrix

This is the last week of songs with a weather reference on My Lost Treasure.  I have decided that next week we will do Halloween type songs.  I already played The Wind Cries Mary, but I thought I would squeeze in another Jimi Hendrix song before the theme ends.  Today the weather word is sun.

I remember hearing Jimi's engineer Eddie Kramer say that Jimi Hendrix was a really humble guy.  He said that Jimi didn't think he was a good singer.  He knew he could play a mean guitar, but he did not seem to realize how tremendously talented he actually was.  And he was so very young when he died.  What did we miss out on that could have been?
