My Lost Treasure: Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart

Transportation is the theme right now on My Lost Treasure.  And we've started with train songs.  It seems like there are tons of them.  Today is one of my favorites.  I know, I know...I say that all the time.  But I have so many favorites!

Today we're doing a version of People Get Ready that combines two great talents.  The raspy and awesome voice of Rod Stewart and the incomparable guitar playing of Jeff Beck.  It's not the only version, but it's one of the best.

I have a feeling that the transportation theme is going to last a while.  We haven't even started on planes and automobiles.  And I don't think we're donhe with trains.  Looks like we'll spend a good part of the month traveling...
