My Lost Treasure: Janis Joplin

The current them on My Lost Treasure is songs with guys names.  How could I do this theme and not include today's song.  It's an all time favorite, and I got a lot of suggestions to play it.

Today's song was actually written by Kris Kristofferson.   I have always been a Kris Kristofferson fan, but I am sure I listened to this version of the song for years without knowing that he wrote it.  When I found out that little piece of information, I think I liked the song even more.  It's a part of my childhood, my teens, and my adulthood,  I still like to listen to it.  As a special treat I will even throw in the Kris Kristofferson version today.

Boris and I are on vacation for a couple of weeks, but we will be back on the air on Aug. 1.  Check back here each day, though, because My Lost Treasure will continue right through vacation.
