My Lost Treasure: Iggy Pop and Kate Pierson

The theme is food and drink right now on My Lost Treasure.  It is, after all, the big season for eating and drinking.  And today the food is candy.  I am beginning to realize how many songs mention candy.  There are a lot of them, that's for sure.

I played the B-52's a couple of weeks ago, and today's song features Kate Pierson from The B-52's.  Kate and Iggy Pop.  It is a winning combination, and a great song that we are making fit our theme even if it is not actually about the food candy.  It's good enough for me.  When the song first came out I remember thinking how weird it was that these two got together for a song.  Not so weird after all.  As I mentioned earlier, it's the perfect combination.
