My Lost Treasure: Happy Birthday Willie Nelson

The theme is places...cities, towns, states, countries, etc.  Today also happens to be Willie Nelson's birthday.  He is 83 years old today.  So, I just had to feature Willie for My Lost Treasure today.Today's pick is a Steve Goodman song that was a big hit for Arlo Guthrie, but Willie Nelson did it too.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Willie nelson in concert a few times.  Once from a skybox at Dutchess Stadium.  Free food, free beer, and an awesome show!  I also got to see him right around his birthday at UPAC in Kingston.  We had great seats and once again, it was an awesome show.  I am sure I have told the story of how I got to interview him in the 90s and he called me Stacey through the whole interview.  I did not mind.  It's Willie Nelson, all is forgiven.

Happy Birthday, Willie.  Thanks for all the great music.  Have a great weekend, and I'll talk to you on the air Monday morning.
