My Lost Treasure: Gordon Lightfoot

Another song for our April Showers theme...I actually remember this song from a Peter, Paul, and Mary album that I had.  Okay, I still have it, and listen to it.  Anyway, they do a really good cover of today's song.  I always just figured it was their original song.

Fast forward a few years or decades, I realize it's a Gordon Lighthouse song.  I thought the Peter, Paul, and Mary version was good, but the original is even better.  Neil Young covered it, too.  And even though I love Neil, it's not the one I'm playing.

Even though it wasn't a hit, today's lost treasure is Gordon Lightfoot at his finest.  And it fits the theme.  Enjoy the weekend!
